मुंबईतील कारवाईवर Waris Pathan यांनी जोरदार प्रतिक्रिया देत सरकारवर टीका केली आहे. त्यांनी स्पष्टपणे सांगितले की, कोणत्याही व्यक्तीच्या मालमत्तेवर बुलडोझर चालवण्याआधी कायद्याची योग्य प्रक्रिया (due process) पाळणे आवश्यक आहे.
यावेळी त्यांनी Supreme Court of India च्या निर्णयाचा उल्लेख करत “देश बुलडोझर पॉलिटिक्सने नाही, तर संविधानाने चालतो” असे ठाम मत व्यक्त केले.
तसेच त्यांनी पोलिस प्रशासनाला निष्पक्ष कारवाई करण्याचे आवाहन केले आणि नागरिकांना शांतता राखण्याचे आवाहन करत कोणालाही कायदा हातात न घेण्याचा इशारा दिला.
Devendra Fadnavis यांना हस्तक्षेप करण्याचे आवाहन करत, काही नेत्यांवर वातावरण भडकवण्याचा आरोपही त्यांनी केला.
